About Me

I grew up in the mid-West surrounded by six brothers, a major blessing, a father who looked like a big leprechaun and loved to tell stories and a mother who was the Blessed Virgin in the city parade. A rich source  for story telling.

I fell in love with New York City at the age of seven when I walked off into Central Park to find the zoo and moved there for good after receiving my Master’s Degree in Directing from Boston University.  Working as a Director and Actor lead to producing. Writing was ever present as something private. Since 2017 it has become my sole focus. I get to explore truth and its permutations in constructing a life with meaning.

In 2017 I directed a play at the Austrian Cultural Forum in NYC and was so impressed by the story that I asked for the playwright for the screen rights and was given a go the same day. It was magic and began the most exciting and difficult period of my creative life, so far.

That play became the first screenplay Illegal Justice, followed by another screenplay My Mother Es Mi Madre and then a TV pilot Shelter and now a stage play is in process, Orientation. Exciting and challenging is just the way I like it.
